Spicy Hot Deer Stew

 

This recipe is left to our taste from the standpoint of the actual amounts of meat and basic ingredients used. 
There are several ingredients that could be added based on your personal taste.

1.	We use approximately 4 pounds of deer meat cut in small pieces.  You can use any type of deer meat, 
        we normally use roast meat.
2.	Brown the meat in a skillet, place in a large pot after browned.
3.	Add 3 cups of water.
4.	Add 2 cans (12 oz.) of spicy V8 juice.
5.	Add 1 can of whole yellow corn.
6.	Dice 1 to 2 onions.
7.	Cut 4 to 5 white potatoes into cubes.
8.	Salt and pepper to taste.
9.	Add 3 to 4 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce.
10.	Simmer over medium heat in a covered pot for 1 hour stirring often or until meat is tender.
11.	Mix approximately 1/3 of a cup of corn starch in cool water in a mixing cup.
12.	Remove stew from heat, slowly stir in the corn starch until the stew reaches the thickness you desire.

Note:	Serve with biscuits and enjoy!
