NASP Information

We began supporting NASP in 2011 by helping as instructors for Farnsley Middle School here in Louisville Kentucky. Farnsley was in it's second year with a NASP team and had just appointed a new coach. We had been talking for several years about trying to get involved in the NASP program somewhere, to give something back to the sport we have enjoyed for so long. When we were given the opportunity to help, we jumped at the chance. Farnsley's team has grown from twenty in 2011, to over sixty kids in 2013. It has been one of the most rewarding things we have done as archers in all the years we have been involved in the sport of archery. It has given us the opportunity to work with kids that for the most part, had never been involved with archery. Today's kids are our future of the sport. We have watched the team grow in size and skill in just three years. In 2012 we missed qualifying for the Kentucky State Championship tournament buy 200 points. In 2013, we not only qualified for the Kentucky state tournament, we scored well enough at the state tournament to also qualify for the National tournament.
